The
village of Shanevo is situated almost on the island. You can
not get there using a road. The roads leading you to Shanevo
are dirty and impassable. You can easily get stuck in marshy
lands on both sides... Only very strong horse can make in through.
The only way to get to Shanevo in Spring or Fall is going by
boat across the lake. That is why Shanevo reminds me of an Island. |

Dense
pink fog was slowly filling up the hollow of Dolotzo Lake.
First rays of morning sun were touching hills, trees and Russian
houses darkened by age.
My village of Shanevo was waking up slowly. |
